Training Overview

Today’s internetworking environment is complex and dynamic. To remain competitive, organizations are placing ever-increasing demands on their internetworking professionals.Key among these demands is the following:Expanded network functionalityRock-solid network stabilityGreater network capacityBecause of its position as the regional leader in internetworking technology, these organizations look to Proxcy training for guidance and support in meeting these challenging demands. Proxcy has responded to this challenge by introducing the Proxcy Certified Program (PCP)—a high-level certification program designed to identify and serve the best of the internetworking experts.

Capabilities

The Proxcy Certified Program  PCP provides:

  • A definition of “expert-level” technical knowledge and skill

  • State-of-the-art methods to evaluate this knowledge and skill

  • Enhanced services targeting the needs of these “best-in-class” engineers

PCP status denotes proficiency in supporting diverse internetworks that use routing and bridging technologies. When you attain this status, your organization or customers will know that you have passed strict testing and hands-on skill evaluations. They also will benefit from your privileged partner relationship with Proxcy training support organizations; a relationship that will enable them to more effectively deploy and manage their internetworks. Organizations supported by Proxcy Certified Program will benefit from reduced overall cost of ownership and accelerated deployment capability.

Key Benefits

Specific benefits of Proxcy Certified Program status include:

  • Industry Recognition. PCPs are recognized throughout the internetworking industry as highly qualified technical professionals.

  • Privileged Technical Support. PCPs may elect to have their cases queued immediately to second-level support engineers in Proxcy’s Technical Assistance Centers (TACs). This election, optional on a per-case basis, allows access to senior expertise when the PCP has ruled out known problems.

The PCP program certifies individuals, not companies. If you move to another company, your status remains with you as long as you adhere to the program requirements and maintain your certification. However, access to enhanced services requires a Proxcy maintenance contract or partner support agreement.
